GenYES Sample Projects
What's a PORT?
Some of these projects are linked to the actual project (if available). If not, the PORT is shown. The PORT (Project Organizing and Reporting Tool) is an online project management site where the GenYES student and their partner-teacher create a lesson plan for their project, create learning objectives for the partner-teacher and the students in their classes, and align the project to classroom content standards. GenYES consultants provide feedback and evaluation of the project during its construction. In this way, the results of the GenYES program are collected and can be used as evidence of partner-teacher's increased use of technology to teach their classes.
These projects represent the thousands of projects archived in the GenYES database used by our member schools. Every year, we add more examples of quality technology integration projects for our students to explore and share with the partner-teachers they are helping. These projects range from pre-K to 12th grade, and cover all subject areas from art and music to science and math.

The partner teacher had to show Dani that she learned how to navigate through the Power Point and set up the projector before she was able to apply this review with the class.
