Generation YES Tenth Anniversary Contest Winners Announced

Schools Nationwide Awarded Student Technology Programs

 

Olympia, Washington, July 5, 2006 – Thirty schools from California to Massachusetts will be including students in the process of improving education with technology next fall as a result of winning a grant of a Generation YES license. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the exemplary GenYES model of student teaching teachers technology, students in these schools will be learning to assist teachers with technology, do tech support, and teach technology literacy skills to their peers. These schools were selected from hundreds of applicants for their belief in students and plans to include students in technology integration efforts using the Generation YES model.
