become proactive leaders through extensive use of advanced technology.
- 4 unit comprehensive curriculum
- Learning Contracts
- Flexible - can be run as an intensive semester elective, a full-year
course, or a service club
- Gen Did collaboration network gives students access to other motivated
students for connections, support and collaboration
- Gen Did website provides project planning and reporting tools.
- Generation YES consultants help you tailor the course to your needs
Four modules form the basis of the course. These modules are flexible
so that each class can be tailored to the unique situation of the class,
school, and time alloted for the course. The modules are supplemented
by learning advanced technology skills that are used in the community
service project. (Curriculum Details)
A contract is designed by the student and teacher as the guiding document
for the course. As they work through the process of preparing the contract
and then fulfilling it, the student learns valuable "soft" skills including
project management, collaboration, and leadership. These real-world skills
complement the technology skills and create a powerful authentic learning
experience.
Generation YES supplies everything you need to make this advanced technology
class a success in your school. (Services)
