Greetings!
When my children were young, our family traveled extensively. My wife and I taught around the world, and my son had been to over 100 countries before he graduated from high school. Two of his many friends were Libyan and Israeli. These three kids mastered the Apple II, Atari, and versions of Logo in the early 1980s and have stayed friends over the years.
Recently they met in Seattle and took a picture to match one taken 25 years ago. A Jew, Moslem, and Christian developed a lifetime of friendship through their mutual interest in technology. As the 2007-08 school year comes to an end, we all need to remember the power that educators hold in bringing the world together and that technology can be an important catalyst.
Forward... Dennis
