Students used the Web site to find information about the Dow 30 companies for oral reports and Jefferson Middle School did win first place in the Washington Council on Economics Education Spring Stock Market Simulation.

1.) plan the project with my partner teacher
2.) learn how to use Claris Homepage
3.) do the layout of the Web page
4.) check layout of Web page with partner teacher
5.) use Netscape Navigator Internet browser to find logo images for the Dow 30 companies
6.) edit the Dow 30 logos in HyperStudio
7.) use Graphic Converter to convert the Dow 30 logos to gifs or jpeg images
8.) link all companies of the Dow Jones to their logos my Web page
9.) create all the fancy decorations on Web Page
10.) use a scanner to add a bull and bear picture to my Web page.
11.) do final details and touch up
12.) show to partner teacher
13.) make changes suggested by my partner teacher
14.) post Web page
