The Stock Market Game : An investments simulation for the classroom is a real-world excercise in investments. Student investors buy and sell stocks in actual companies at current prices. The simulation encourages students to research the companies in which they wish to invest and take notice of news that effects them on a day-to-day basis.

In the game, you will compete against other teams. The goal is to take an initial $100,000, invest it in the market, and make a profit on your investments during a ten-week session. The team in each age division with the highest equity in their portfolio (cash and stock values) will be recognized as the top ranking team. Over 300 elementary, middle, and high school teams from all over Western Washington will compete to be #1! This game is fun and educatonal at the same time. Can you imagine arguing with your parents over who gets to read the financial section of the paper first. You will. Just wait.
