Objectives for Partner Teacher's Students:
  Objectives
The students will be able to learn things they didn't know about colonies in the United States. We like to think this is more fun, so this, and the questions we will ask after the presentation, will keep their attention on the project.
  Assessment Strategy
We will have an oral question-and- answer setting to determine if we have succeeded in interesting the students and helping them learn a little more about colonization in Early America.
  Results
After our oral questions to the class we think that they have learned more about colonies in North America. We know they have learned about the wardrobe of kids and about who was located where in the colonies.
Objectives for Partner Teacher:
  Objectives
The teacher will be able to learn more about combining technology and everyday classes. We hope she will combine technology with her classes more often.
  Assessment Strategy
We will have a face-to-face interview to determine whether or not we have succeeded in our objectives for Mrs. Brooks. We will ask her what she has learned and if it has helped her with her teaching.
  Results
After our face-to-face interview we think Mrs. Brooks has learned more about HyperStudio, and technology in general, than she knew when we started the project. We hope she will use her new knowledge in her everyday classes.

Procedures
We talked to Mrs. Brooks about what she wanted to do with this project. We determined that we would do a HyperStudio project on the different colonies in the United States of America. We researched the different colonies with Netscape Communicator, Internet Explorer, and an Internet connection. To organize our data we made a list of the information and decided what order we wanted it in. We put the information on the Macintosh G3 by using HyperStudio f3.0.71 and put it on the cards of our HyperStudio stack. When we completed the stack and agreed on a time to present it to the students, we gave our presentation to the Fifth Graders at the computer lab in LMS. We presented our presentation to Mrs. Brooks for her to okay, then we will set up a time for the presentation. After the presentation we will ask the Fifth Graders some questions to have some classroom participation. Hopefully they will have paid attention to our project!

It wasn't always fun when we couldn't find the addresses we wanted.
