NWREL Evaluation Reports

 

The following links provide information about Generation www.Y which has been gathered by the Assessment and Evaluation Program of the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (NWREL). NWREL has been conducting an independent external evaluation of the Generation www.Y project since 1996.

Gen www.Y Receives U.S. DOE Exemplary Award -

 

The Expert Panel on Educational Technology was established by the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) and the Office of Educational Technology in the summer of 1998. The 18-member panel is composed of education practitioners; researchers; school reformers; evaluators; and representatives from local education agencies, institutions of higher education, businesses, foundations, and state and federal agencies. Of 134 educational technology programs from around the country that were reviewed and evaluated by the Expert Panel, Generation www.Y received one of two "Exemplary Awards." The following links provide additional information about the Expert Panel, its review procedures and criteria, and the awards issued.
